AI Brainstorming: Next Steps
Brainstorming Opportunity. AI and Older Adults.
In a prior email we mentioned that we are doing some brainstorming about ways Artificial Intelligence (AI) might be used to improve quality of life for older adults.
Well, a LOT of you were interested and had ideas.
Over the last month many of you contributed ideas for “Problems AI might be able to help with” via an online collection page.
The next step will be to organize a few virtual group brainstorming sessions. The goals of those sessions will be to:
flesh out the “problems that need solving”, and
ideate a bit about “how we would like AI to help solve those problems”.
If you would like to be invited to the brainstorming, or to learn more about what we discuss, add yourself to our list of “AI Interested Explorers: via the link below.
NOTE: You do NOT need to know much about AI. :)

NOTE: If you already specifically signed up for AI Brainstorming, no need to do it again.
The Problems Identified So Far
We got rather a lot of ideas, which is one of the reasons it took us a while to plan “what’s next”.
In general, the “problems to be solved” that explorers suggested cluster into a few categories, and then some subcategories. The top level categories are:
Health, Wellness, Safety, & Caregiving
Managing Day-to-Day Life
Adventures, Reminiscences, and “Things that Make Life Worth Living”
When we organize the brainstorming sessions over the next few weeks, we will encourage people to pick the topic they most want to help brainstorm / find most intriguing.
If that sounds fun, be sure to sign up below.

Questions?
If you have questions, you probably want to go ahead and fill out the survey by clicking on one of the links above.
We will be communicating more information in due course with people who express interest via the survey, but we will likely not be sending it out to everyone on this newsletter list.
If you are new to Tech-enhanced Life, here are some factoids:
There are no fees to become a Longevity Explorer.
If you sign up, we will add you to this newsletter subscriber list, but every email comes with an easy unsubscribe.
If you express interest via the survey in our AI and Older Adults explorations, we will likely be sending you future emails about our explorations on this topic.
This exploration is not sponsored by any third party, and signing up via the links above will NOT lead to you ending up on someone else’s mailing list or being marketed to by some third party.
